Supply Chain/Warehouse Manager

Employbridge Search Group has a client in Dallas who is searching for a Supply Chain/Warehouse Manager to join their team. This is a BRAND NEW facility that comes with excellent benefits and competitive salary.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of high-volume distribution and supply chain activities across multiple vendors, 3PL and carriers
  • Oversee Warehousing, Inbound and Outbound freight activities, Distribution, and execution of order fulfillment processes
  • Represent supply chain in project teams and meetings, participate in supply chain activities to launch new product and markets
  • Oversee Clinical Supply Chain activities in adherence to approved SOPs and guidelines
  • Patriciate and provide input executing various strategic and tactical supply chain initiatives
  • This position requires elevated level of organization, planning skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while creating an environment that motivates, inspires and respects others
  • Oversee the day to day operations of 3PL warehouses, plan and lead quarterly business reviews with 3PLs and carriers, develop and maintain supplier performance metrics to report during QBRs
  • Develop performance standards and KPIs for 3PL and carrier partners and report daily analytics
  • Report to management on performance and financial reporting (KPO) as well as safety statistics
  • Team up with 3PL partners to execute regular cycle-counting programs, quality assurance and inventory management
  • Responsible for overseeing warehousing and freight costs and provide regular reports, identify risks and detailed root cause analysis
  • Develop and maintain analytical models, tools, and reports to enable efficient racking and assessment of internal and external capacity/capability, assess inventory levels against demand and supply plans
  • Proactively identify operational supply/expiry risks and collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve issues effectively
  • Monitor supply plan execution, forecast accuracy, recommend optimum inventory levels based on lead times, MOQ and other critical variables
  • Establish and measure critical metrics for supply chain performance for 3PL and Logistics partners
  • Coordinate with Medical team and oversee fulfillment of all clinical trials orders to enable their successful planning and execution
  • Work with 3PL to ensure the warehouse space is utilized effectively
  • Establish processes to ensure accuracy in billing and invoicing
  • Manage costs, timescales, resources sued, and execute corrective actions where these deviate from agreed commitments and deliverables
  • Leverage well developed interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with internal functional groups throughout the organization and external partners
  • Delivers commitment within the constraints of scope, time, and cost to agreed levels of quality
  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and customers
  • Represent, negotiate and be a liaison in a cross functional initiatives to drive a roadmap of ideas improving processes sand reducing warehousing freight costs
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree with a concentration in Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain, 3PL Warehouse and Logistics Operation Management
  • Background in CPG Industry is a plus
  • Knowledge implementing and utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing a culture of Operations Excellence through commitment and a strong focus on the values of the organization
  • Displays outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to support design change, team leadership, project updates
  • Able to make well-reasoned decisions in relatively short time frames without the need of direct supervision
  • Proven experience working with carriers and overseeing freight
  • Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity
  • Must have the ability to work independently and be an influential team member in a fast paced, team oriented, dynamic environment
  • Domestic and International shipping/Logistics experience
  • Advanced problem-solving skills including analytical and critical thinking abilities, as well as business and financial analysis
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines
