Territory Sales Manager (MI, IN, OH)

  Summary of Contributions
  • Develop, maintain, and lead Manufacturer Reps in territory 
  • Responsible for strategy development and support for the sales growth of microtechnology products and solutions within the district
  • Develop and execute plans to penetrate select Enterprise markets
  • Champion the promotion of new microduct technology products and provide the necessary training
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, end users/owners and engineering firms.  
  • Utilize salesforce.com to maintain current account contracts, account planning, project tracking, and forecasting
  • Provide feedback on competition, market trends and pricing levels and identify products or solutions to expand our portfolio to deliver more value to your customers
  • Become proficient at selling the value of microduct solutions and team up with district personnel to resolve customer concerns
  • The technical resource for fiber cable applications and microduct 
  • Forecast sales by volume for each month for the upcoming 3 months fill out forms and report for management
  • Knowledge on managing business to budget; more data analytics vs just sales 
  • Works closely with district sales to develop new customers and target select markets and applications for microduct solutions.

3-5 years of technical/commercial sales experience (based on territory and skill gaps within the team) Organize/Plan/Execute customer meetings/ events/showcase Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP and Salesforce experience id a plus Managing/directing and integrating activities with
outside reps
Internal & External
Customer Relationship Management; build relationship and trust
Experience in telecom/datacom/power utility industry, outside plant construction, HDPE, fiber Optics
 
Managing sales activities- daily/monthly/annual (quotes, RFQ/RFP, day to day sales activities, opportunity management, pricing, customer presentation/packet, lead
creation, relation management,
client visits)
Energetic, resilient, result oriented, entrepreneurial spirit, self-awareness, maturity, irreproachable integrity
Proven skills in selling solutions and executing
strategy
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferably in engineering, sales, marketing, or product
management or equivalent 
 
Onsite training, field demos,

Technology savvy- computer, cell phone
